The Sydney based brothers-in-law and former fine wine merchants have made the switch from curating wine lists in the city’s boutique bars and fine dining restaurants to sourcing and retailing the most interesting non-alcoholic products they can find.
With a desire to drink better, healthier and smarter, they scoured the globe to discover that while the world of non-alcoholic beverages was already well established in a handful of countries, for the most part, it was under-represented by smaller producers. Back home in Australia, interest around non-alcoholic beverages was beginning to grow, with local producers starting to emerge, producing a variety and range of non-alcoholic beverages that had previously not been experienced by local drinkers.
In mid 2020 Marc & Sherif launched craftzero., their online marketplace, where they have exercised their finely tuned curation skills once more, to bring local drinkers a diverse range of sophisticated, alcohol free beverages.
When approached by Marc & Sherif to create a boundary pushing non-alcoholic beer for their Feb Fast campaign, we jumped at the opportunity. Much like the foundations of craftzero. being in fine wine, UpFlow has its roots in craft beer and brewing. Collectively we enjoy full flavoured beverages, so the concept behind our first ever limited release brew was to step outside the norm, taking a well known Australian dessert and producing a full flavoured, balanced beer, without the alcohol.
Our aptly named “Collective Brew”, the first of its kind, was brewed exclusively for craftzero., whose customers voted to choose the flavour. The pavlova inspired Pale Ale is big on tropical fruit flavour with a subtle vanilla sweetness.
Pavlova has been hugely popular and is drinking really well right now. Grab yours from craftzero. while stocks last.
